Community Outreach

The Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) works with parents to establish and maintain financial support for their children. Through our community outreach, we work to build meaningful connections, increase awareness of child support services, enhance understanding of the child support process, and encourage collaboration with the communities and families DCSS serves.

Along with our in-office services, we connect with the community in a variety of ways to make child support services more accessible:

  • Offer guidance to parents, families, and community partners on how the child support process works, providing real-time case assistance through mobile technology.
  • Share resources and assistance at community gatherings, outreach events, and local fairs to connect families with available services.
  • Facilitate educational sessions and presentations for agencies and professionals who support families, helping them navigate and explain the child support system with confidence.
